Diversity shapes everyday student life in Kufstein.

International restaurants and regional cuisine characterize everyday student life at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol. The central location of the campus provides culinary meeting places that promote exchange, community, and creative breaks between classes.

Students at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol - including those enrolled in the Marketing & Communication Management program - take advantage of the culinary diversity of the city of Kufstein as an integral part of their everyday student life. Meeting places are springing up around the campus, combining learning, exchange, and leisure. The proximity between the university and the city center facilitates this connection and supports an active campus life.

You quickly get to know new people and exchange ideas with students from other fields of study.

Kufstein Campus and City of Delights

For students of the Marketing & Communication Management program, Kufstein is more than just a place to study. The short distances between the lecture hall and the city center allow for flexible scheduling of classes, group work, and breaks. Culinary offerings become places for informal exchange.

Simon Putz, a student in the Marketing & Communications Management program, describes this aspect as follows: “Going out to eat together after college is part of everyday life. Many conversations arise precisely in these moments.”

CULINARY DIVERSITY AS A MEETING PLACE FOR MKM STUDENTS

Kufstein offers a wide range of dining options. Students can find international cuisine at the Greek restaurant Cavos, Thai & Tapas, Spanish restaurants, or WU WOK & Teppanyaki, among others. Regional specialties are offered at Auracher Löchl and Purlepaus. Italian restaurants such as Milano and Arcade round out the culinary offerings.

Modern concepts such as Hans im Glück and cafés such as Dolce Vita are also popular meeting places in everyday student life.

Simon Putz enjoys using food spots for socializing and taking breaks between lectures.

Simon Putz explains: “The selection is large and very varied. There is a suitable place for every situation.” He adds: “Especially after intensive project phases, these places are ideal for recharging your batteries and developing new ideas.”

EXCHANGE, CREATIVITY AND Daily STUDY LIFE

For MKM students, these places are not only places to eat, but also meeting places for exchange and networking. Discussions about projects, presentations, or ideas often arise outside the lecture halls. This promotes exchange between students from different semesters and fields of study. “You quickly get to know new people and exchange ideas across different fields of study,” says Putz.

Kufstein's culinary diversity also offers opportunities for creative projects during your studies, for example in the areas of storytelling, brand perception, or target group communication. These food spots could also be used as inspiration for creative tasks at events or expos.

Fazit

The gastronomic diversity of the city of Kufstein complements the everyday student life of MKM students at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol in a meaningful way. Short distances, international cuisine, and regional offerings promote exchange, community, and creative breaks, making Kufstein an attractive place to study and live.
