To be invited to the admission interview, applicants must (likely) meet the admission requirements. The 20-minute admission interview takes place either via Microsoft Teams or in person at HOK, depending on the option you select during your online application. You will receive detailed information about the interview process no later than three days before your scheduled appointment.

The interview gives you the chance to introduce yourself, talk about your personal goals and plans for the future, and share why you want to study at HOK. Based on this conversation, the interview team, made up of two representatives from your chosen degree program, will get a sense of your motivation and suitability for the program. If the program is taught in German, the interview will be conducted in both German and English; if not, it will be conducted entirely in English.

During the interview, the program team will also review your professional background, distinguishing between subject-specific work experience or apprenticeships, general work experience, and part-time jobs or internships.

You will hear back with your results within 14 days of the interview. If you are offered a place, you will need to return your signed enrollment contract within three weeks and pay tuition for your first two semesters.
