Yoga session on the roof terrace of the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol.
As part of a practical project, students organized Health Day 2025 at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol. Numerous participants took advantage of the opportunity to learn about a wide range of topics related to exercise, nutrition, and prevention.
Students enrolled in the bachelor's degree program in Sports, Culture, and Event Management transformed the campus grounds into a lively hub for health and well-being for one day. Employees, students, and their families were able to actively experience how exciting health knowledge can be through sports, nutrition tips, and preventive health offerings.
The program ranged from healthy snacks and informative lectures to active sports activities – always with the aim of imparting knowledge, promoting well-being, and strengthening interaction among participants.
VARIED PROGRAM ITEMS
Participants could choose from a wide range of activities: energizing classes such as yoga, qi gong, bachata, and belly dancing brought body and mind into harmony. Lectures on mental health, breathing techniques, and vocal health provided valuable insights for everyday life. Those looking for action could let off steam and discover new things at exciting tests and information stands.
A special highlight was the interactive ICAROS station, where participants could enjoy a VR flight experience. In addition, interactive stations such as slackline and spikeball invited visitors to get active and have fun. The youngest visitors were also well catered for with a child-friendly program in the Festsaal (Festivities Hall).
Join in, collect stamps, enjoy smoothies
A stamp card encouraged active participation – after completing five stations, visitors received a small surprise. The juice and smoothie bar provided healthy refreshments with fresh drinks and shots. Another highlight was the Geben für Leben (Give for Life) typing campaign, where interested parties could easily register as stem cell donors.
