KUBI Kufstein is much more than a traditional library. It is a central point of contact for students who want to study in focused solitude as well as work together with fellow students. In addition to classic academic books and databases, the library offers digital content, e‑books and leisure media such as films and audiobooks. The library combines quiet individual workstations, group rooms and open learning areas. “The library is a place where focused work and exchange are possible,” says Laura Dyja, staff member at KUBI Kufstein.
The room design allows students to apply individual learning strategies: they can prepare for exams, work on group projects or exchange ideas in discussion sessions. “For me, KUBI is the perfect quiet study place where I can really concentrate on my studies,” says Maximilian Oettl, a student in the Marketing & Communications Management program at FH Kufstein Tirol.
