Yoga and relaxation sessions gave employees and students the opportunity to consciously set aside time for their mental and physical well-being.
With workshops, sports activities, and an expert talk, Health Day at FH Kufstein Tirol focused entirely on movement and well-being. Numerous staff members and students took advantage of the offerings, contributing to a high level of participation.
On 28 April 2026, FH Kufstein Tirol hosted its Health Day for the third time, giving staff and students the opportunity to gain new inspiration for a healthy and active everyday life. The aim of the event was to raise awareness of physical and mental health and to highlight practical ways to incorporate more movement and balance into daily routines. The varied programme combined workshops, open activities, and an expert talk on balance and stress management.
Workshops and physical activities in focus
As part of Health Day, participants were able to try out a range of exercise and sports activities. The programme included yoga, dance workshops, and cardio training, among others. In addition, freely accessible activities such as table tennis and Wii Sports were available throughout the day.
Another programme highlight was the talk “More Balance, Less Stress: Practical Ideas for a Healthy Everyday Life.” It presented hands-on approaches to support mental well-being and to help people shape their daily routines more mindfully.
Strong participation and positive feedback
The event was attended by many staff members and students. In particular, the high number of registrations and the active participation in the individual programme items underscored the strong interest in health-promoting opportunities within everyday university life.
“The positive response to Health Day shows how important topics such as movement, mental health, and balance are in everyday study and work life,” the organising team explained.
With this successful Health Day, FH Kufstein Tirol sent a clear signal in support of greater health awareness and active leisure activities within the university environment.
