Niveau

Introduction & in-depth study

Learning outcomes of the courses/module

The participants:
• describe the design, function and components of water, wastewater and access systems in buildings.
• explain the hydraulic and mechanical basic principles of supply and disposal systems as well as elevator and conveyor technology.
• analyze simple system concepts taking into account safety, energy efficiency and user comfort.
• apply plans and schematics for evaluation or fault diagnosis.
• assess the sustainability, cost-effectiveness and maintenance requirements of these systems in building operations.
