Learning outcomes of the courses/module

The participants:
• explain and distinguish between the basic concepts, actors, and markets of real estate investment.
• analyze real estate as a capital investment, taking return, risk, and liquidity aspects into account.
• calculate and evaluate investment decisions using financial mathematics methods
• identify and assess forms and structures of financing for real estate projects in a national and European context.
• evaluate financing strategies with regard to cost-effectiveness, sustainability, and risk management.

- Investment appraisal using static and dynamic methods
- Return, risk, and liquidity analysis
- Forms of financing in the real estate sector
- Banks, capital markets, and alternative financing instruments
- The impact of macroeconomic factors and interest rate developments
- Sustainable and ESG-compliant investment strategies
