The participants:
• can analyze empirical data with suitable statistical methods and interpret the results.
• explain the differences between descriptive and inferential statistics.
• are able to identify essential statistical procedures and implement them independently.

• use the MS Excel software package competently for a wide range of data analyses and, where required, use alternative software such as SPSS or R.
