• Fundamentals and classification of accounting
• Distinction between external and internal accounting
• Tasks, functions, and legal foundations of external accounting (Austrian Business Code, UGB)
• Introduction to the obligation to keep accounts
• Fundamentals of bookkeeping and double-entry bookkeeping
• Principles of proper accounting (GoB)
• Structure and classification of the balance sheet and income statement under the UGB
• Introduction to cost accounting
• Distinction between external and internal accounting
