Learning outcomes of the courses/module

The participants:
• identify and complete suitable extracurricular activities that help expand their subject-specific, methodological, and social competences (in coordination with the program management).
• apply theoretically acquired knowledge in various practical contexts and reflect on the experiences gained.
• expand their networking skills through contacts with other students, institutions, and practice partners.
• develop initiative by independently implementing projects, contributions, or support services within the student community or in a public-benefit context.
• systematically document and evaluate their extracurricular activities and derive personal learning progress from them.

Course content

• Overview of opportunities for extracurricular activities and their potential for study, career, and personal development.
• Reflection on and transfer of theoretical knowledge into practical fields of action.
• Exchange and discussion of best practices from different formats (e.g., specialist events, student initiatives, non-profit projects).
• Guidance and feedback on individual learning and development paths over the course of study.
