The participants:
• analyze different scientific research designs and methods and evaluate their suitability with regard to their own research question.
• develop a consistent research design for their master's thesis that coherently connects the research question, objectives, methodology and data basis.
• structure methodological approaches and justify these on the basis of scientific criteria.
• evaluate the ethical, scientific and practical challenges of their design and formulate measures for quality assurance.
• argue their research design in a peer discussion and reflect on feedback for the methodological further development.
