Learning outcomes of the courses/module

The participants:
• analyze complex project structures in energy & sustainability management and derive critical success factors and risks for different stakeholder groups.
• assess advanced project management methods (agile–hybrid–traditional) with regard to their suitability for various FM/RE use cases and structure project-relevant decision-making processes.
• design iterative innovation processes based on the design thinking model and develop user-centered solutions for complex problems in energy & sustainability management.
• critically reflect on their own project and innovation practice and derive improvement strategies to enhance team performance, user orientation and solution quality.

Fundamentals of project management

Course content

- Hybrid and agile project management frameworks
- Stakeholder, risk and complexity analysis in energy & sustainability management
- Design thinking & user research in energy & sustainability management using personas, customer journeys and service blueprints
- Rapid prototyping for product, service and process innovations
