The participants:
• analyze various academic research designs and methods and assess their suitability with regard to their own research question.
• develop a consistent research design for their master's thesis that coherently links the research question, objective, methodology and data basis.
• structure methodological approaches and justify these on the basis of academic criteria.
• evaluate ethical, academic and practical challenges of their design and formulate measures for quality assurance.
• argue their research design in a peer discussion and reflect on feedback for methodological further development.
