Learning outcomes of the courses/module
The participants:
• analyze complex specialist, methodological and academic problems in their research field and derive a precise research question together with a theoretical frame of reference.
• develop a robust research design and justify the choice of methods, data collection and analysis procedures on the basis of academic quality criteria.
• collect, structure and evaluate empirical data or literature and theory materials and synthesize valid academic findings from them.
• produce a logically structured, linguistically precise and academically sound master's thesis and argue the results reflectively with regard to their academic and practical contribution.
• evaluate the quality, limitations and transferability of their research and formulate recommendations for action as well as approaches for further research.
• present and defend their research work convincingly, in a discussion-ready manner and appropriately for the audience as part of the final examination.
