The participants:
• analyze academic articles with regard to research questions and theoretical foundations.
• replicate the implemented methodology with original data in order to critically evaluate results.
• compare different research approaches and assess their potential and limitations for their own research questions.
• derive suitable methodological approaches for their own master's thesis from the analysis of academic studies.
• independently develop proposals for suitable data sources and research designs in relation to their individual topic idea.
• reflect on the importance of methodological rigor and academic connectivity for the quality of their own research.

• Review of the qualitative and quantitative research methods covered during the program and their fields of application.
• In-depth study of selected methods for application to specific research questions.
• Analysis of current academic articles from relevant journals
• Discussion of the methodological potential of different approaches with regard to research questions in the context of International Business Management.
• Deriving implications for planning and conducting one's own master's thesis.
