• understand the interrelationships between the economy, society and politics against the backdrop of individual and organizational responsibility.
• can apply business ethics principles to critically analyze complex decisions in international corporate contexts.
• can identify ethical dilemmas and conflicts in management and resolve them while taking cross-cultural value systems and different stakeholder perspectives into account.
• can evaluate management theories and corporate strategies from an ethical and sustainable perspective.
• are able to critically analyze sustainability concepts for integrating economic, environmental and social dimensions and to apply them in an international context.
• can implement the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in corporate strategies and evaluate the impact on corporate sustainability (CSR) in order to promote long-term value creation and social responsibility.

• Philosophical foundations, ethical theories and cross-cultural values in economic decision-making processes
• Cross-cultural and multi-rational perspectives in global business environments
• Business ethics in international management, dealing with contradictions and ethical dilemmas in companies and organizations
• Critical reflection on management approaches (e.g., principal-agent theory, shareholder value approach, etc.) from an ethical and sustainable perspective
• Sustainability strategies, an in-depth examination of the triple bottom line (TBL) and the three dimensions of sustainability (economy, environment and society)
• Global initiatives, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in corporate strategies and practice-oriented corporate sustainability concepts
• Corporate social responsibility (CSR) in the international business environment
