The participants:
• have systematic knowledge of structures, actors, and control mechanisms in modern sports management and the central political framework conditions of a sports system.
• are familiar with current theories, models, and research findings from sports economics and management.
• understand the fundamental mechanisms of development dynamics in sport and can analyze complex sports economics problems and develop appropriate solution strategies.
• are able to justify management decisions in sport on an evidence-based basis and adapt them to different contexts, such as commercial vs. public welfare-oriented.
• critically reflect on their potential future roles in sports management and address issues of responsibility and sustainable development.
• are able to work in teams in a solution-oriented manner and communicate with various stakeholders in the sports context in a manner appropriate to the target audience.
