Learning outcomes of the courses/module

The participants:
• analyze the functional, economic and cultural requirements for modern workplace and space-usage concepts in international organizations.
• design innovative workplace and space management strategies taking into account new-work approaches, hybrid working models and space optimization.
• evaluate space efficiency, utilization and usage quality on the basis of quantitative and qualitative key figures.
• communicate design proposals and change processes in an audience-appropriate, interdisciplinary manner using English technical terminology.

- Fundamentals and objectives of workplace & space management
- Strategic space planning and space management processes
- Methods for space analysis, occupancy planning and utilization assessment
- Concepts of work environments
- Change management and user integration in space changes
- Economic and sustainability aspects (ESG, green building, WELL standard)
- Digital tools for space and workplace management
- International best-practice cases
