Learning outcomes of the courses/module

The participants:
• formulate and structure a scientifically sound research question.
• research, analyze, and evaluate relevant academic and practice-oriented sources.
• select and justify suitable research methods and apply them to a defined problem.
• interpret and discuss results with regard to scientific insights and implications for professional practice.
• communicate and defend their own research findings in written and oral form, professionally and appropriately for the audience.
• reflect on their own academic work as well as the ethical and methodological aspects of the research process.

Prerequisites for the course

all content from semesters 1 to 5

Course content

- Independent work on a bachelor's thesis
- Accompanying research seminar with peer feedback and presentations
- Discussion of research design, choice of methods, and interpretation of results
- Reflection on practical relevance, transfer, and the limitations of the work
- Preparation for the final presentation & final examination
