Learning outcomes of the courses/module

The participants:
• identify and complete suitable extracurricular activities that contribute to expanding their subject-specific, methodological and social competencies (in coordination with the program management).
• apply theoretically acquired knowledge in various practical contexts and reflect on the experiences gained in the process.
• expand their networking skills through contact with other students, institutions and practice partners.
• develop initiative by independently implementing projects, contributions or support services within the student community or in a public-interest context.
• systematically document and evaluate their extracurricular activities and derive personal learning progress from them.

Course content

• Overview of the options for extracurricular activities and their potential for studies, career and personal development.
• Reflection on and transfer of theoretical knowledge into practical fields of action.
• Exchange and discussion of best practices from a variety of formats (e.g. specialist events, student initiatives, non-profit projects).
• Guidance on and feedback about individual learning and development paths throughout the course of study.
