The participants:
• analyze different scientific research designs and methods and assess their suitability with regard to their own research question.
• develop a consistent research design for their master's thesis that coherently links the research question, objective, methodology and data basis.
• structure methodological approaches and justify them on the basis of scientific criteria.
• evaluate ethical, scientific and practical challenges of their design and formulate measures for quality assurance.
• argue for their research design in a peer discussion and reflect on feedback for the methodological further development.
