The participants:
• can explain basic statistical concepts and apply them to a data set.
• can extract information from data sets and visualize it graphically using suitable charts.
• can select suitable descriptive and inferential statistical methods, carry them out correctly and interpret the results critically.
• can use common software tools (e.g., R, Python, SPSS) to prepare data sets and analyze them for business questions.
• are able to design and implement their own empirical analyses.

• Descriptive statistics and inferential statistics
• Data types and data analysis
• Information gathering and visualization
• Identification and interpretation of statistical instruments
• Implementation of analyses with statistical software
